In addition to beautiful people and beaches, Zanzibar, Tanzania, also boasts some fantastic scuba diving. With plentiful, healthy corals and a wide array of tropical fish species, it’s easy to see why this island is on any avid diver’s destination list.
We dove with the One Ocean team, located just up the coastline from us at Kiwengwa Beach and couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience.
Plus, how often do you get to do a backroll dive entry from a dhow?! So cool.
There are also plenty of curious octopi in the waters off Mnemba Island. This one found my GoPro to be absolutely fascinating and risked a closer look.
