Angela and I had circled up through mainland China and back down through all of the Asian island nations, finding big cities and wild adventures along the way. But we couldn’t move on to Indonesia, Brunei, and Malaysia until I had visited Angkor Wat.
After Petra, the ancient Buddhist temples near Siem Reap, Cambodia, ranked highest on my list of historical sites to see on this trip. So we jumped back to the Asian mainland for one last visit, finding cheap beer and … inner peace.
Great postcard! How awesome you got to aee Angkor Wat. And nice stamp! 🙂
When I was posting this one I thought, “Hey! A stamp! Awonderfulsheep is going to appreciate that.” And I’m glad you do.
