Everyone raves about the beauty of New Zealand, and for good reason! Although we rented a car and drove both the north and the south islands, we only scratched the surface of this wonderful land apart.

Yay another stamp! I also like to see how much it costs to send a postcard internationally in different countries. I was surprised when was in the US recently — sending a postcard was almost triple what it costs in Korea. Of course there’s a different cost of living, but wonder what other factors come into play–like maybe how much the country’s postal service is used?

A fair question. Sometimes the cost is a function of the distance. In several places, when we ask for postage to the States, it’s often three or four times the original cost. Sometimes, I’m skeptical about this, but I pay up regardless to get the postcards on their way to Wanda!
