We spent a weekend in Boston on assignment for The Daily Refresh (ABC television), and it’s a wonderful destination for a two- or three-day getaway for travelers of all ages.
Massachusetts’ capital is a city filled with history that’s played an important role in the fight for freedom — for the United States, for the abolishment of slavery, and for women’s rights. But Boston isn’t stuck in the past. It has a modern side, too, and offers a nice mix of urban and coastal environments, since it’s just a ferry ride away from the Cape Cod National Seashore.
